Imagine: Universal Health Care in Colorado, THIS Wednesday, February 1, 6:30pm, via zoom. We can’t say much in this announcement, and we know it’s easy to get disappointed at the lack of progress, previous attempts, and seeming impossibility on something we’ve all wanted for so long…

You don’t want to miss LADs Next Meeting — Hit the Ground Running: Local Electeds Share 2023 Priorities, Wednesday, January 4, 6:30pm, via zoom.

Where else but LAD, will you find SIX local electeds, gathered to share their vision and strategies for 2023? With daily news of other states, even the extremist faction of our US Supreme Court — suppressing rights and taking our democracy backward — YOU VOTED to maintain our robust democratic majorities here in Boulder County. And by electing and re-electing local district state legislators, they will draft, sponsor and vote forward good statewide laws (not to mention block bad bills), thus protecting democracy in Colorado!

We’re so happy that the following elected leaders will join us:

Each elected will have time to speak, then we will open it up for a few minutes of questions from attendees. The 2023 Colorado Legislative Session starts on January 9, we’ll provide access to join CLEAN (Community Legislative Early Action Network), and as always, provide updates, announcements and action items.

On December 17, LAD held its Annual Holiday/Business Meeting, where we elected the LAD 2023 Board of Directors, and presented an overview of our year’s budget, and our accomplishments. You can find the resources and slides from that meeting here.
