ALL ELECTIONS IN COLORADO ARE NOW BY MAIL even if you are registered to vote and did not vote in the last election.
Ballots are being mailed the week of June 2nd for the June 24th Primary, and are due to the Boulder County Clerk’s office by 7pm, Tuesday, June 24.

YOU CAN REGISTER TO VOTE UP TO AND ON ELECTION DAY. (Check your voter registration status here.)
- June 2: last day to mail in a paper voter registration form
- June 16: last day to submit a voter registration form or change of address form online
- June 24: last day for in-person voter registration at Service Centers (Same-Day-Voter-Registration)
In order to vote, you must: 1.) be a US Citizen, 2.) be 18 years of age or older on Election Day, 3.) register to vote (see new deadlines above), and 4.) be a resident of Colorado for at least 22 days before the election, 5.) not be serving a sentence (including parole) for a felony conviction
In order to participate in the primary election, unaffiliated voters may affiliate at any time up to and on the day of the primary election. But if you are affiliated, May 23rd was the last day to change your affiliation in order to vote in a different party’s primary.
YOU CAN MAIL YOUR BALLOT. Please follow ballot instructions (an insert will come with your ballot), sign your ballot, affix postage, and drop in the mail.
