NEXT LAD MEETING, SIX DAYS to GO ELECTION DEBRIEF, THIS Wednesday, November 2, 6:30pm, via zoom. Well, we thought it was “just” going to be a a free form, community discussion, where we’d answer any last minute election questions — and of course, we’ll do that…but a NEW DEVELOPMENT: LAD Board Members have spoken at Longmont City Council meetings, in support of Gun Violence Prevention measures, and Stan Gelb has exciting news to share around FIVE possible ordinances with the city — with a meeting in Longmont in NOVEMBER (we’ll keep you posted!) THEN, we’ll hear from our State Senator Sonya Jaquez Lewis — she raised the CALL TO ACTION on FLIPPING SD15 MONTHS ago — so she’ll be on hand to give us important State Senate race updates. We’re just about to make applications to the LAD Board available to those interested for the coming year, we’ll include a GOTV Progress Report, as well as a special SHOUT OUT to VOLUNTEERS
