A Community Conversation — Creating Inclusion & Confronting Hate
A Community Conversation. We need to stand together to confront bigotry and hate, educate ourselves about implicit bias, cultural self-awareness and cultural proficiency.
What does that mean? LAD board members Sue McCue and Susie Hidalgo-Fahring will lead this important and empowering discussion, including exercises to help all of us clearly identify our own bias and what to do about it.
And…we have a little over a month left of session — LOTS going on, so we’ll provide an overview of the latest legislative updates from the Capitol!
