Longmont Area Democrats monthly meeting, “A Celebration of our Latino Community”, Wednesday May 4, Barrio E’ Centro, 471 Main Street, 6:30–8:30pm. We’ve put together a vibrant program showcasing the creativity, history, business contributions and legislative action of, by and for Longmont area Latinos. This makes Longmont a great place to live. 28th Anniversary of the Hispanic Scholarship Awards Banquet, Thursday May 5th, Skyline High School, 600 E. Mtn. View Avenue, 5:30pm. A wonderful cause shaping futures in our community! More info here.
Longmont Area Democrats table at Cinco de Mayo, Saturday, May 14th (newly rescheduled date), Roosevelt Park, 11–6pm. Come by our table, register to vote, learn what LAD is up to this spring and summer, how to get involved, & get info on democratic candidates. PLUS, try your hand at fun, political word games!
