Wednesday, April 6 • 6:30pm (meeting will start promptly at 6:45!) • Longmont Public Library, 409 4th Ave.
Longmont has owned its utility since 1912 — this is vital to the foundation of local control — and through citizen-powered municipalization efforts, we now how have Nextlight (Longmont’s fiber optic network).
Local control is better for Longmont’s economy and job growth, our environment, and our people.
We’ll have a panel discussion with city and local issue experts, Scott Rochat, Sara Loflin, and Steve Szabo, to discuss the history of Longmont’s local issues, what’s working, what’s on Longmont’s local control horizon, and how you can get involved.
Please join us…and please, bring a friend! Wednesday, April 6, 6:30pm, Longmont Public Library
