What’s Up with the Mall?

Thanks to all who attended last Wednesday night…

Find out Wednesday, September 3rd  6:30pm
Front Range Community College  Community Room

The health of our community relies on a healthy local economy
and the status of Twin Peaks Mall is at the heart of that.
Come find out what the contract means.

We’ll have David Starnes, Manager of Longmont’s Redevelopment & Revitalization Division and the Executive Director of the Longmont Urban Renewal Authority, and who was instrumental in preparing the contract to answer your questions.

Questions like: Are COP’s (Certificates of Participation) common in municipalities? Why was Sports Authority included in the mall when it is not a “new” business? Why was New Mark Merrill allowed to sell the land to Sam’s Club? As well as any other questions you might have…

Please join us…and please, bring a friend! Next Wednesday, September 3rd, 6:30pm, Front Range Community College, 2121 Miller Drive, Classroom Building (east side of Miller Drive), Community Room. (go in door C4, go left, past the cafeteria, Community Room is on the right across from the bathrooms.)

PLUS! Back by popular demand: We’ll be selling frozen fresh homemade TAMALES before the meeting. Red or Green Chili. $10/dozen. We‘d like to know how many to have on hand, so send us an email at longmontareadems@gmail.com to reserve yours!
