What are you prepared to do for Gun Safety in Colorado?

At our State Capitol THIS WEEK, Republicans are already at work trying to repeal gun safety measures that our legislators successfully passed last session.

Can you believe it? Last session, withstanding great pressure from the NRA and Rocky Mountain Gun Owners, the legislators WE VOTED TO REPRESENT US worked very hard to pass a high capacity gun magazine safety measure and other gun safety laws that are SAVING LIVES here in Colorado.

BUT Republicans in our State House and Senate are trying to UNDO THAT GOOD WORK with HB1151 to be heard THIS AFTERNOON in the House State, Military, and Veterans Affairs Committee and SB100, which will be heard on Wednesday afternoon in the Senate State, Military, and Veterans Affairs Committee.

ACTION ITEMS:
PLEASE SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR GUN SAFETY IN COLORADO by taking a trip to the Capitol this afternoon or Wednesday and be a presence in the committee rooms. There is a small, but vocal MINORITY that stands to drown out the sensible voices that live here in Colorado.

OR SHOW UP AND SPEAK to show your support for sensible gun legislation and OPPOSITION to HB1151 and SB100!

OR CALL OR EMAIL members of these committees (see the list below).

OR TRACK THESE BILLS using our “How to Track a Bill” widget that you see on the right.

Below is the contact list for our State House and State Senate Committees. PLEASE NOTE that Senator Bernie Herpin (R-11) is on the Senate Committee list. He acquired his seat at the recall election last year — the first of its kind in the State of Colorado with support financed by the NRA — against duly elected Democratic Senator John Morse.

DO YOUR PART FOR GUN SAFETY IN COLORADO! THANKS FOR ALL THAT YOU DO!
