We will have Boulder County Clerk Hillary Hall, and Longmont City Clerk Valeria Skitt at our next meeting to explain the changes and how they will impact Boulder County and Longmont. DO YOU CARE ABOUT COLORADO’S PUBLIC EDUCATION? We’ll also have a thorough explanation of Amendment 66 “Colorado Commits for Kids”, that has made it onto the Nov. 5 ballot and if passed will change the way Colorado finances its P-12 education. Damion LeeNatali, from State Senator Mike Johnston’s office, will provide insight into the wording of the ballot issue, what the tax implications are, and how it could change school financing for the better.
