We had a fun crowd last night…THANKS TO ALL who attended. Regardless of the mood after the debate, there are plenty of blogs today magnifying the importance of TRUTH over a slick sales pitch. TRUTH MATTERS. And it hasn’t changed our resolve, we still have PLENTY of work to do leading up to November 6th!
(part of the alley is still blocked off because of construction, but 723 Main Street is within walking distance of Roosevelt Park and other nearby streets…)

The 2012 Ballot Forum: Why this Election is Crucial to Longmont
Meet the candidates and discuss the issues that will move Longmont forward!
You’ve heard us say it before: Voting the WHOLE BALLOT is essential, and this forum will give you a chance to know your ballot right before it arrives in your mailbox, or when you visit your polling booth on Election Day. The Boulder County Democratic Party has just printed its very helpful Voter Guide and those will be delivered to you in the days after our forum.
PLEASE BRING A FRIEND, whether they are an LAD member or not. Knowing your ballot is empowering, and it will provide great insight to how grassroots support strengthens our democracy. Not only to support the great Democratic candidates we have running, but to vote for the issues that many tireless activists have worked hard to put on the ballot. Namely, the Fracking Ban in Longmont that many of you probably signed the petition for. As caustic as this election season has been, this is one way to combat the cynicism, and underscore the principle that every vote counts. YOUR VOTE COUNTS.
We look forward to seeing you — and your friends — TONIGHT Thursday, October 4, 6:30pm at 723 Main Street in Longmont!
