VOLUNTEER: We will always inform you of ways to be involved. Targeted, simple projects with a plan, and an idea of how long each task will take. Do you know what precinct you live in? BECOME A CITIZEN ACTIVIST! We launched CLEAN (Citizen Legislative Early Action Network) in 2015. Your grassroots activism does not end with your vote, and CLEAN is a great way to advocate for the things you care about. You’ll get a chance to see our legislators at work on important bills, and get an opportunity to support good measures as well as help to stop bad bills! We’ll post updates regularly. It helps us to pay for rental of community rooms, pay for licensing on films, our website upkeep and other expenses. LAD has been around for a long time, with people joining because of their frustration, and a big desire to actually DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. We’ve had disappointments, but MUCH SUCCESS. PLUS, it’s a FUN GROUP of funny, intelligent, sometimes ironically witty folks who love this country, and manage to GET RESULTS toward PROGRESS!
