TOO LATE TO MAIL (it won’t make it to the Clerk’s office in time), BUT EASY to drop off! — at the Clerk’s office at 6th & Coffman, by Tuesday, November 5, 7pm. You can drop it at the 24Hour drop box on the corner (follow signs), at the drive-up drop-off at 5th & Terry (beginning this Friday, Nov. 1, 8am), or walk it in and get an “I Voted!” sticker. Wear the sticker to encourage others to vote. There are also 24-Hour Drop Boxes at the Boulder County Fairgrounds (9595 Nelson Road), the Longmont YMCA (950 Lashley) and Garden Acres Park (2058 Spencer) available until Election Day, Tuesday, November 5, at 7pm.

We did not endorse positions for city ballot measures 3B, 3C, 3D or 3E, but you’ll find general ballot information and some links about those measures below. The Boulder County Democratic Party did endorse Yes on Prop CC. We urge every voter to research for information and editorials from sources and folks you trust for positions on all ballot measures.)
ELECTION INFO:
All Colorado elections are mail-in ballot. You’ll receive your ballot mid-October. Check your voter registration first at govotecolorado.com
Colorado has same day registration, meaning you can register to vote up to and including Election Day. However, in order to receive a mail-in ballot, you need to be registered to vote by Monday, October 28. If you aren’t registered to vote by that day, you can always walk into a Voter Service Polling Center (VSPC), bring an ID, register to vote and vote in person.
We strongly urge you to sign up for Ballot Track now, if you haven’t already. The Boulder County Clerk will send you a helpful text to let you know when your ballot is on its way to you, as well as when your ballot has been processed after you mail it or turn it in. The sooner you turn in your ballot, the sooner election calls and door knocks stop!
Your ballot must reach the Clerk’s office by Tuesday, November 5 at 7pm. Follow the instructions with your ballot, vote every single part of your ballot and don’t forget to sign it! Do not mail your ballot after October 30 — it might not make it to the Clerk’s office in time. Instead, drop it off at the Boulder County Clerk’s office, 6th & Coffman, at their 24-hour drop box, or walk it in and get an “I Voted” sticker — wearing that sticker will remind others to vote. (There will also be a drive up drop off available at 6th and Terry — that’s the parking lot west of the Clerk’s office, closer to Election Day. Those hours will be posted on the bouldercounty.org/elections site when they become available, and we will also update this page.) You can also drop your ballot at one of the many Voter Service Polling Centers in Boulder County. You can get a list of drop off locations at the bouldercounty.org/electionswebsite.

2019 ELECTION BALLOT CONTENT:
Everyone in Colorado will have the statewide measures Propostion CC and Proposition DD on their 2019 ballot. Both of these measures were referred to the ballot by our state legislature. CC is a “DeBrucing” measure for TABOR. More about Proposition CC here. A video about DeBrucing from the Bell Policy Center here. (The Boulder County Democratic Party has endorsed Yes on Prop CC. If Longmont Area Democrats takes an official position, we will post it here.) Proposition DD is a tax on sports betting establishments. More about Proposition DD, here.
If you live in Boulder County, your ballot will also have Boulder County Question 1A (Coroner Term Limit Extension to Five Terms)
If you live within Longmont’s city limits, in addition to the statewide measures and Boulder County issue 1A you will also have city council candidates on your ballot (Mayor, At-Large, and depending on what ward you live in, Ward 1 or Ward 3 positions). You can check which ward you live in,here. You will also have City of Longmont Ballot Issue 3B (Pool & Ice Rink), City of Longmont Ballot Issue 3C (Extension of 0.75% sales and use tax for streets and transportation projects), City of Longmont Ballot Question 3D (Shall the City of Longmont Home Rule Charter be amended by revising Section 12.4 of the Charter to allow for leases of city property for up to 30 years?), and City of Longmont Ballot Question 3E (Shall Municipal Judge Robert J.
