The Boulder County Fair starts this weekend! Come show your support and walk with fellow Dems for the parade on August 3rd. Share in the fun along with lots of other Dems, candidates and elected officials as we demonstrate the very real presence of the vibrant and progressive tradition in Longmont and Boulder County. Please encourage your friends to come wearing campaign shirts and carrying campaign signs. We will bring the banners! (Kids are welcome!)
MEET FOR THE PARADE at 9:30am, TOMORROW, Saturday, August 3rd: at Roosevelt Park along 8th Ave. Look for Democrat banners! (map) The parade will begin at 10am.
AND SAVE THE DATE: THE EVENT OF THE SUMMER, THE 10th ANNUAL LAD PICNIC! WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 7, 5-8pm at the home of Bob and Joan Peck. 1935 Spruce in Longmont. Parking along Spruce and in their driveway at the end of Donovan (2 blocks south of Spruce). Hamburgers, hotdogs and soft drinks provided. Please bring a side dish to share and your own place setting. FUN! MUSIC! POLITICS! “Rita Batiste & Friends” will be playing for our musical enjoyment from 5-6:30pm. AND REMEMBER, something exciting always happens at the LAD Picnic…so please join us!
